Google API Services Limited Use Disclosure
Last Updated: August 24, 2026
Neurture's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
What the Google Calendar integration does
Neurture Studio is practice-management software for developmental consultants and therapists. Practitioners who choose to connect Google Calendar have their Neurture appointments written to their own calendar so their schedule lives in one place.
The integration is write-only. Neurture creates, updates, and deletes the calendar events it created for Neurture appointments. Neurture does not read, list, import, index, or store the contents of a user's existing Google Calendar events.
Scopes we request and why
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events— to create, update, and cancel the calendar events for Neurture appointments.https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.emailandopenid— to display which Google account is connected so the practitioner can confirm they linked the right one.
We request no other Google scopes, and no other Google Workspace product data is accessed.
No AI or machine-learning use of Google data
Neurture includes an AI assistant ("Neuri") that helps practitioners draft session notes and progress summaries from data they enter directly in Neurture.
- Google user data obtained through Google APIs is never sent to Neuri or to any first-party or third-party AI/ML service.
- Google user data is never used — raw, aggregated, anonymized, or derived — to create, train, improve, or fine-tune any AI or machine-learning model.
- Because the integration is write-only, no Google Calendar content ever enters Neurture's data stores or any AI prompt in the first place.
- Google user data is never sold, and is never transferred except as needed to provide the calendar sync feature itself, for security, or where required by law.
What we store
- The email address of the connected Google account (so the user can see it).
- The target calendar identifier (normally the account's primary calendar).
- An encrypted authorization handle used to write events on the practitioner's behalf. Neurture never receives or stores the user's Google password.
- The Google event identifier for each Neurture appointment, so a later reschedule or cancellation updates the correct event.
Human access to this data is limited to authorized Neurture personnel for support and security purposes only.
Disconnecting and deletion
A practitioner can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from Neurture Studio (Settings → Google Calendar), or revoke Neurture's access from their Google Account permissions page. Disconnecting deletes the stored authorization handle, connected account email, and calendar identifiers from Neurture.
